Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation at times. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. The daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since age nine. Her skill was instrumental in securing her first position as production assistant for Univision Miami, where she was a producer of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. The CBS station of St. Petersburg hired her following this to become the sports reporter. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as a news reporter for the Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas and became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Her duties as an anchor for sports or weather were also frequently demanded. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate, where she was able to take on other responsibilities. She also wrote articles on sports like the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Additionally, she was the producer of the local Univision 23 sports program Accion Deportiva Extra on which she also served as anchor. She became a sports host for the morning program on Despierta America Deportes. The same job was held in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on UniMas Network. Antonietta Collins was a native of Veracruz Mexico. The family were moved to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. There is an older sister. The family moved from Mexico to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. In 1992, her parents separated then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who passed away in 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. In June in 2006 she spent an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working at the time. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school but already knew what she was going to do. The campus was stunning and provided the education she sought. When she completed her high school education she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was student in her class, formed a lasting relationship with her. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his passion for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
