Masiela was an American writer, actor and social worker who was born in Tirana Albania. Max Lusha, along with Daniela Lusha have only one daughter. In the age of 14 Brink became pregnant and was forced to drop out of high school. Following the birth of her son Davion she moved into an apartment and worked at the local laundromat in order in order to pay for her rent and bills. Brink was in her very first group Pulse located in Albany, New York. The band mostly performed local shows for Coal Chamber, Sevendust and other groups. But later the band split. At the age of 25 she moved to California in the state of California to Los Angeles looking for her big break. Brink was employed in retail stores as well as singing in bars and cafes, while searching for a new musical group. Two years later she met the band's current singer Chris Howorth at an audition. Howorth was hesitant to take her on as she was female. When he saw her performance, he changed his mind. Along with drummer Jeff Fabb, they created the Dying Stars. Then guitarist Blake Bunzel joined the band as did Bassist Josh Newell. The name of the band has been changed to In This Moment after two shows.
